Distractions

Now I know I already ranted and raved for today but I would like to say this...I am always distracted by something. This blog for instance is a distraction in its self but I also get distracted by music and television.  I really need to learn to control this and get over it. I can always do things later and focus on my task at hand.  Today it was Facebook and the dreaded homework battle.  I did get both things done but Facebook kept my attention for to long. I would like to say I am a good kid and I do my homework without getting distracted but I am not that kid. I do my homework without being told and I feel bad if I do not do my homework.  Taekwondo is again another distraction...it is always on my mind. How do make something better and how to try this that and the other. That is one distraction I can not give up ever!! It is my one stress relief and it is how I make it through the week.  Well this rant is over considering dinner is on the table. Yum.

Reality Strikes Me Down

So with all blogs people have, ideas and what-not to write down, so here is how this blog came about.  I realized that even though I already have a blog I had no where to complain and to say what is on my mind. (My other blog is all poems and stories.)  So as I sit in my computer class and flip through other peoples blogs, I consider making a new blog for my thoughts.  So now this blog is all new and only going to be for my multitude of rants.

So how reality strikes me down,  I believe that all teenagers should know how to use the computer and every day I am reminded that NOT everyone is a computer genius, not even I am a computer genius, but they should know how to use more than Microsoft Word and the Internet.  People need to explore the many uses of the computer.  More things are on the Internet than Facebook and youtube people.  I do my fair share of Facebook and youtube stuff but I really believe that in this day and age people should know more about the computer.  Maybe I am assuming everyone should be able to do as much as me or they should at least be computer smart.  My question is this, how do you go on with life without being able to use the computer in multitude of ways?

Technology is always evolving and changing around us.  Our cell phones can go on the Internet for crying out loud.  Teenagers need to branch out and learn something new.  Technology is going to be the biggest thing we need to understand when our generation takes its place in society.  The working members of society will not survive.  I say that not only should classes on Microsoft programs be taught but other easier classes for students who just do not understand the computer to be taught.  Web design and publishing might just be to hard for some people to understand.  I wish all these people the best of luck in the next few years of the life because it is going to be hard on them.

Sorry to say but my rant must end so soon.  The bell will ring and I will move on to my next class.
